My Thrilling Cobia Chase in the Chesapeake Bay
My recent adventure in the Chesapeake Bay was something out of the ordinary. I withness a thrilling journey to hunt for the “Man in the Brown Suit” – the Cobia, one of the strongest fighting fish in the Bay. What was special about this fishing trip? it was a high-octane chase, guided by none other than Jet Ski Brian.
For your information, we begin from 8am from Messick Point, located in beautiful Poquoson Virginia. The morning was fresh as I hopped onto my rigged jet ski. The goal? To target the elusive cobia.
Talking about cobia, these are one of the strongest fighting fish in the Bay and weigh around 100 pounds. A 30 to 50 pound fish is are common fish found here! For the readers, It was a solo ride, as double riders aren’t allowed on these fishing trips, but it was worth.
In the end, the chase for the “Man in the Brown Suit” was worth as It tested my skills, patience, and off-course my ride was appreciated on social media, credit and thanks wallacesbaitandtackle !
